From Vince:
"Hey Morrie!!! As far as the car goes, it’s coming along well. I rebuilt the CV joints, replaced the front “smile” rubber, the Heater control cables, all the fuel injection lines from the tunnel on. I have now driven the car twice for a grand total of 4 miles (yippee!). I am going to apply for personalized license plates and get it inspected now in January. I will then get what ever type of registration I can get so that I can start to drive it legally. I would of course prefer a full clean legal title instead of a “registration purposes only” title as I have on my Opel GT. I am starting to clean up the body a bit. The paint was peeling on the rear fender and the only body rot on the whole vehicle was the corners bellow the back window, and the corners of the front cowl. I am grinding and cutting the rot, and dressing the areas pending the full blown body and paint job. I will yank the engine and transmission and replace the engine so that the vehicle is 100% before the final paint job is applied. That will take probably 2 years, so I will be driving it “ugly” for a while. I’d rather have a sound solid daily driver than a pretty garage queen. Take care, Vince "
