Norv Parr's Album
4/18/04:
Norv shares a little of the mechanical history of his car:
"My E has 207K now, about 165K on the present engine. The engine was rebuilt by the dealer in Albuquerque in 1981 with about 40K miles, said to be "pulling the studs." I have never believed that it was necessary but it was done under warranty so I did not complain too much. Eventually the engine will go to Cleveland, GA for a Raby rebuild but plan to retain the EFI rather than regress to carbs so the power will never be over +/- 100. It seems to be the right thing for this car, the whole package is just right. I have other cars with more power but none that I enjoy taking on the road like this E. Cheers, Norv"
